Join Us to Celebrate Our Marriage!
Back in 2019 we held a a tiny ceremony on a beautiful April afternoon at the New York Botanical Garden and were legally married by our close friend, Sasha Soshnin.
At the time, we planned to hold the “real” wedding with our friends and family in the fall of 2020. We never intended for our tiny ceremony under the cherry blossoms to be an elopement, but when the pandemic hit and we decided to go to grad school, it ended up being exactly that.
Well, after being happily married for five years and nearly ten years together as a couple, we’re thrilled to invite you to join us in celebrating our marriage as we renew our vows in lieu of the wedding we never had.

Questions and Answers
Dress Code
- The dress code is formal, but please feel free to bring a change of shoes since the party will extend into the night.
Transportation
- Villa Luisa is approximately 10 minutes from the city center by car. If you are coming to the venue directly, we recommend using the Bolt or Uber apps, or taking a taxi. Villa Luisa is also a short 15-minute walk from the Plaza de España, which is a beautiful place to stop for photos before you arrive.
Can I bring a plus one?
- Due to careful planning for the venue’s capacity, we have limited the guest list to those named on the invitation. If you think we’ve forgotten someone, please let us know.
Do we have a registry?
- We know that most of you are traveling from far away to celebrate with us in Sevilla, so your presence and enthusiasm is all that we ask!
